CALLUS

This is the first story of the book, and it´s speek about a marriage, a chinese girl and her husband.
He is going to marry another woman, because the chinese is old, and her husband wants her to do the things of the house, and to care for the childrens. In her culture, they can´t say their feelings, and this is why she never say to him nothing. The chinese girl doesn´t want him to marry another.

I chose this story to because for me, everybody can say their feelings and no one have to prohibit this.

NUTRITION PROJECT

I´m going to speek about food in different countries and my group.

The healthy food is the food that the people eat to have a good health. Foods considered "healthy" maybe natural and organic foods.
Everybody in their groups chose a different country, in my group the people looked for the diets of the country they chose. In Mali, the diet is mainly based on cereals. People who live in Thailand eat almost the same as in mali. The typical diet in Germany(it was the country I chose) is heavy and Canadians have a healthy diet.
After we looked for info about the countries, we decided on Canadá to do the cooking video.
Before making the video, we needed to do the ppt about the country.
We cooked a typical Canadian dish call "Tourtière". Finally, we opened an international restaurant to present our food, we had to prepare the menus and know how to serve tables.

 

For me, it was a good experience because we were speaking in english all day. Now I know the diets of different countries and their flavours. If I could, I would like to repeat this experience again.

PHONETIC STORY

When I was driving in my new van to go to the village of my parents to spend the vacations, I saw something strange. It was like a vulture, but there wasn´t a bird. Inmidiately, I stopped the vehicle. I saw a man playing the violin near a grove. He looked at me and he came very quickly. And I could only see his red eyes for a second. He wasn´t a normal man. He was a vampire.
